1. Manufacturing & Calibration Lead Times

Quality and precision cannot be rushed. Because our devices are often specially manufactured to meet specific testing standards and client requirements, please be aware of the following timelines before placing your order:

  • Special Manufacturing Period: As many of our laboratory testing devices are built to order or sourced from specialized manufacturers, the base production time requires a minimum of 45 days. This ensures that every component meets our rigorous quality standards.

  • Calibration & Certification: Every device we supply includes a detailed calibration certificate to ensure NIST-traceability or ISO compliance. The calibration process is handled by certified technicians and requires a minimum of 2 weeks to complete accurately.

Estimated Total Lead Time: Please anticipate a minimum of 45 to 60 days from order confirmation to shipment. We pride ourselves on transparency—if a specific device requires more time due to complexity, our team will notify you immediately.

2. Shipping & Logistics

Located in the strategic trade hub of Kwun Tong, Kowloon, our Hong Kong facility serves as the central dispatch point for laboratory devices across the globe. We partner with reputable freight forwarders specializing in high-value, sensitive instrumentation.

  • Packing: All climate chambers, spectrometers, and testing rigs are packed in export-grade, shock-resistant crates to prevent damage during transit.

  • Shipping Methods: We offer both Air Freight (for urgent, smaller devices) and Sea Freight (for larger environmental chambers and bulk orders).

  • Tracking: Once your order ships, a dedicated account manager will provide you with tracking information and shipping documentation.

3. Import Duties, Taxes & Customs Clearance

As an Import/Export specialist with over 20 years of experience, we manage the complexities of international trade.

  • Incoterms: We typically ship on an FOB (Hong Kong) or CIF (Destination Port) basis. However, we are flexible and can discuss terms based on your specific location and preferences.

  • Customs Documentation: We provide all necessary commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and calibration certificates to assist you with smooth customs clearance in your country.

  • Local Taxes: Please note that any import duties, VAT, or local taxes imposed by your country's customs authority are the responsibility of the buyer.

4. Delivery Costs

Shipping costs for laboratory equipment vary significantly based on the size, weight, and destination of the machinery.

  • Heavy Machinery (e.g., Walk-in Chambers, Industrial Testers): Quoted individually based on volumetric weight and destination port.

  • Benchtop Devices (e.g., Spectrometers, Analyzers): Calculated based on dimensional weight and shipping speed.

5. Receiving Your Delivery

To ensure the safety of our team and yours, please adhere to the following upon delivery:

  1. Inspection: Immediately inspect the external crate for any signs of damage. Note any damage on the carrier's delivery receipt.

  2. Uncrating: If possible, inspect the device visually before signing the final delivery acceptance.

  3. Installation: For complex climate chambers or large CNC-related testing devices, we recommend having a certified technician handle the unboxing and setup to prevent voiding the warranty.
